Archer pens new deal with John Letters

Phil Archer has signed a new deal with John Letters Golf, citing the “first class” equipment as one of the key factors in his decision to remain with the manufacturer.

The 40-year-old is currently leading the European Challenge Tour Order of Merit after securing victory at the Pacific Rubiales Colombia Classic, using his Master Model irons.

“I’m delighted to have re-signed with John Letters. I have worked with them for a number of years and it’s great to continue our partnership. The equipment is first class and so is the service I have received, which has been a huge help to me on tour,” said Archer.

“I’ve spent a lot of time between events at John Letters state-of-the-art testing facility in Huddersfield, hitting all the latest Letters’ equipment including the new Master Model Grind wedges, Master Model fairway woods and also the Master Model blades,” he added.

Simon Corp, Marketing and Business Manager for John Letters Golf, said the brand was more than pleased that Archers agreed to a contract renewal.

“We’re delighted to have agreed a new deal with Phil. He is a great ambassador for the brand and has had a great start to the 2012 season.

“Tour players demand the most exacting detail, precision and specifications – so if we can get it right for them, we know the product is right for the market,” Corp added.
