FootJoy launches weather expert microsite

FootJoy have launched a new microsite that gives golfers live weather forecast updates so they can go to the course prepared in the most suitable attire.
The high tech FJ Weather Expert – which is powered by AccuWeather – provides updates for locations all over the country, as well as another two million across the rest of the world.
Golfers need to input the postcode of where they are playing, and the Weather Expert will match the conditions with the most suitable garments from FootJoy’s Layering system and footwear, gloves and accessories.
“The thinking behind the FJ Weather Expert was create a portal where our loyal following of FJ enthusiasts could make sure they were never caught out on the golf course with inappropriate clothing, footwear, gloves and accessories,” said Russell Lawes, the brand’s European Marketing Manager.
“FJ has always had a fantastic reputation for bringing high-tech, performance driven outwear to the market and with the help of this fantastic micro-site we are now able to take this one step further and enhance the golfers’ on-course experience,” he added.
