Luke Donald Puts MP-64 Irons Straight Into His Bag

Luke Donald has put Mizuno’s new MP-64 irons into his bag this week in the first FedEx Cup Playoff event, The Barclays, at Bethpage Golf Club.

The world number two tested the players muscle back iron on the range at the Barclays, and was so impressed by the data that he put them into play for round one.

The new MP-64s have a very shallow cavity, offering a touch of forgiveness; but the main point of these irons is to deliver exceptional feel and more feedback.

They are set to cost around £100 per club, and have been launched alongside the JPX-825 and the JPX-825 Pro for beginners and game improvers respectively.
