Odyssey release new Flip Face putters

Odyssey changed the putter market forever when they launched their 2-ball in 2001 and 11 years on, their Flip Face putters offer a similarly exciting story of innovation.

The newly-developed technology allows golfers to change the face insert on their putter quickly and without hassle, depending on their preference. It also gives golfers optimal control when playing on slower or faster greens.

On one side of the coin, you have the Metal-X insert, a dual-layered innovation which offers true, consistent roll off the face and has been covered with an aluminium striking layer which offers enhanced feel and feedback.

On the other side, golfers will find the famous White Ice insert that helped make Odyssey putters world renowned.

The legendary insert has been designed to offer improved sound, responsiveness and distance control with modern golf balls.

The White Ice insert also features a face surface that has been roughed up – this not only improves the acoustics at impact, but also helps to increase friction between the putter and the ball for more topspin and a consistent roll.

There are three models in the Flip Face range – #1, #5 and #9. Each model features a head weight of 345g, loft of 3 degrees, lie angle of 70 degrees and is available in three shaft lengths: 33″, 34″ and 35″. They have an RRP of £279.
