New TaylorMade ATV wedge set to launch

Following years of development, TaylorMade are launching their innovative All-Terrain Versatility wedge, which has been designed to feature various degrees of bounce on the different parts of the sole.
The wedge has been created to give golfers more options with their short game, and the specially-designed sole helps players of all abilities to do this.
“You won’t find a bounce number etched anywhere into the ATV clubhead because the sole takes on different bounces depending on how you position the club for the type of shot you’re hitting,” said Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade’s Product Creation Manager for irons, putters and wedges.
“The ATV wedge is engineered to perform beautifully on a multitude of different types of shot, including chips, pitches, sand shots, full shots from the fairway, out of the rough, off bare-lies, flop shot and bump-and-runs,” he added.
The new ATV wedge also uses a new groove design pattern that helps to generate impressive levels of spin.
The wedge will be available in a variety of lofts, priced at £89. It goes on sale at the start of April.
