Video Review: Titleist 712 CB Forged Irons

Titleist’s reputation for producing equipment for the avid golfer is well-deserved, and their better-player irons are certainly impressive.
As well as the new AP2, AP1 and MB irons, the new CB irons are everything a serious golfer could want from a club.
The irons, which launched in November last year, feature a small cavity with an inner cavity muscle behind the impact area of the face, and the longer the iron the more offset.
This means there is slightly more forgiveness than you might imagine than with some better player irons, but all of the workability you’d expect still remains.
These are slightly more playable than the full-out MB blades that Titleist offer, and Dave Connor went along to Titleist’s European HQ to see what he thought of the clubs.
