European Ryder Cup team set to benefit from new ProQuip Trophy Suit technology

ProQuip have unveiled their new Trophy rain suit which features the same fabric technology that exists in the 2012 European Ryder Cup Team garment.

The new suit will go on sale in September to coincide with the Ryder Cup clash at Medinah Country Club, and the lightweight apparel will be worn by captain Jose Maria Olazabal and his squad as they seek to retain their trophy following the win two years ago at Celtic Manor.

The slim-fit suit, which features an exclusively-developed ultra-lightweight waterproof fabric with high performance breathability, is also crease free so it still retains its easy-on-the-eye aesthetics even after being in a golf bag.

“We know from the experience of the 2010 Ryder Cup that the weather can be a factor and that keeping players dry and comfortable and enabling them to perform at their best is imperative,” said Russell Brooks, General Manager at ProQuip.

The Trophy suit jacket and matching trousers comes in an array of colours and sizes, and will retail at £329.
