New Cobra Puma Ferrari golf collection launched

Cobra Puma Golf have collaborated with Italian supercar giants Ferrari to launch an exclusive premium golf range.
The new collection features a top-of-the-range driver – featuring the famous Ferrari red – as well as a host of clothing and accessories.
The driver is the real headline grabber as Cobra Puma technicians worked with aerodynamics experts at Ferrari’s R&D department to create a more effient head shape for less drag and more clubhead speed.
They used the Cobra ZL Encore driver as the base model and then made changes based on Ferrari’s extensive research in aerodynamics resulting in a driver that will give golfers an average of 6-10 additional yards off the tee.
“The Ferrari Golf Collection Driver is a work of art,” said Tom Preece, Vice President of Research and Development at COBRA PUMA GOLF. “We worked with Ferrari engineers to create a truly impressive driver that outperforms. To add to the allure, the driver features a hand-stitched leather grip, a headcover made from genuine Ferrari leather, a premium Fujikura Motore Speeder Shaft and it is packaged up in a luxurious Ferrari Golf Collection Driver display box.”
Elsewhere the accessory range features premium visors, belts, gloves, umbrellas and bags with the Ferrari Golf Luxury Bag and Ferrari Golf Luxury Duffel manufactured in Poltrana Frau Leather, the same leather used in Ferrari GT Cars.
Clothing includes polos, knits, jackets and trousers while the Ferrari Collection golf shoes are handcrafted in Italy with genuine full grain leather upper and sole.
The Ferrari Golf Collection can be found in select golf retailers and Ferrari Store starting in July, 2012. The driver will retail at £1,250 while the shoes are priced £400.
