The future is Orange for Cobra with new AMP driver colour scheme

After signing Rickie Fowler at the beginning of the year it was always likely that orange would play a role in Cobra’s new AMP products – but not many people could have been expecting an almost entirely orange version.
The special edition Orange AMP driver supplements the original AMP driver launched in January. It will only be released in limited quantities but it features the same Sunday orange for which Fowler is renowned.
The driver is as a result of a collaboration between Cobra’s design team and the young American, who won his first PGA Tour title at Quail Hollow.
It features a vibrant orange crown, shaft and grip as well as a black face and black/orange sole. The shaft is the same one Fowler uses on Tour – a Mitsubishi Diamana Whiteboard. It also comes with a vibrant orange headcover and is shipped in a bright orange box.
“It was a lot of fun working with the Cobra research and development team on this driver,” said Rickie Fowler. “We had a few rounds of samples until we found the right Sunday Orange color and then we decided to use the same shaft I play on Tour. It has been performing great in testing and has a cool new look and edge to it. I think fans will love it.”

The new Special Edition Orange AMP driver will retail at £329 and will be available in men’s right-handed lofts of 9.5° and 10.5°, in both stiff and regular flexes.
