Ian Poulter secured his first win of the year with a closing round of 65 at the HSBC WGC Champions event in Shenzhen, China.
The 36-year-old produced eight birdies in his first 15 holes to overturn a four shot deficit.
Overnight leaders Lee Westwood and Louis Oosthuizen could only manage rounds of level par, leaving Poulter to win by two and move-up to world number 15 and fourth in the Race to Dubai rankings.
Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson finished in a four-way tie for second with United States duo Jason Dufner and Scott Piercy.
