Kevin Streelman Re-signs With Wilson Staff

Wilson Staff Golf have announced the re-signing of PGA Tour star and Staff Advisory Member Kevin Streelman.

Streelman, who has won more than $6 million as a professional, first signed with Wilson Staff in January 2011 and the extended agreement will see the 34-year-old continuing to play with FG Tour V2 irons, whilst carrying the distinctive Wilson Staff bag and wearing the Tour branded cap.

Streelman remains part of the Wilson Staff team that includes three-time Major champion Padraig Harrington and fellow American Ricky Barnes, plus recent Ryder Cup star and former Open champion Paul Lawrie.

All four Staff players will continue to provide important feedback to help inspire and design future Wilson Staff irons.

“The R&D team at Wilson Golf has been extremely intentional in providing me the best feeling and performing equipment on the market, as well as relying on my feedback to implement in new product,” said Streelman. “I know my voice is valued there and I would love to add another Major title to their list using my FG Tour V2 irons.”

Streelman famously won the inaugural Kodak Challenge in 2009 and its ‘winner-take-all’ first prize of $1m having recorded the lowest score (-17) across designated holes at 30 Tour events during the season. This season, to date, he has hit an impressive 1,037 greens in regulation (66%), helping him to three top-10 finishes.

“We’re delighted to have re-signed Kevin for next year and pleased that he shows such confidence in the FG Tour V2 irons when playing on the PGA Tour,” said Doug Wright, Commercial Director of Wilson Golf in Europe.
