Daly signs up with Bioflow Sport

Two-time Major winner John Daly has joined Team Bioflow and will wear the brand’s range of magnetic wrist bands.

The American joins a golf stable that includes Lee Westwood, Paul Lawie and Simon Dyson, and the 46-year-old was keen to talk about the positive effect the technology was having on his game.

“As you get older, the grind of the Tour can leave you with a lot of aches and pains in your joints and bones. When I put on my Bioflow band, it’s magical. I feel rejuvinated and able to ‘Grip it and Ripit’ round after round,” he said.

Daly propelled himself onto the world stage by winning the US PGA Championship in 1991 at Crooked Stick, despite starting the week as only the ninth alternate in Indiana. Four years later he saw off the challenge of Italian Constantino Rocca to win the Open Championship at St Andrews.

Speaking about the news of the new signing, Bioflow Managing Director Richard Corse, said: “We’re delighted to welcome John Daly to Team Bioflow. He is such a huge character in the game and will be a great asset as we look to target the US market. We’re actively looking for the right distribution partner and there is no doubt John’s endorsement will assist us.”

Bioflow have recently launched the new Sport Twin band, which has been designed with a double silicone strap for greater freedom of movement.
