COBRA Launch Adjustable AMP CELL Fairways And Hybrids

As part of their new and exciting 2013 AMP CELL range, Cobra have launched the AMP CELL fairways and hybrids.
They will feature COBRA’s MyFly technology, meaning the 3-4 and 5-7 woods can be adjusted into 8 different lofts. The Hybrids are available in 2-3, 3-4 and 4-5 models that can be adjusted into 10 different lofts.
This gives golfers a never-before-seen ability to effectively dial in distance gaps and manage trajectories for their individual long game needs, as wells as ground and weather conditions.
The woods and hybrids are also available in the same colours as the AMP CELL drivers; silver, directoire blue, Barbados red and vibrant orange, so golfers can create a matched set or a personalised, mixed look.
“The AMP CELL Driver, Fairways & Hybrids optimise a golfers’ ability to effectively manage their distance gaps, ultimately resulting in improved playability and performance,” said Bob Philion, President of COBRA. “Our research shows most golfers are playing with the wrong loft. MyFly technology eliminates that worry by providing golfers the ability to adjust the loft on their own to find the perfect fit.”
The 3-4 fairway wood offers easy adjustability between 13°, 14°, 14° Draw, 15°, 15° Draw and 16° while the 5-7 model adjusts between 17°, 18°, 18° Draw, 19°, 19° Draw and 20°.
In the hybrids there is a 10° loft spread between three clubs for effective distance gapping. The 2/3 model adjusts between 16°, 17°, 17° Draw, 18°, 18° Draw and 19°; the 3/4 model adjusts between 19°, 20°, 20° Draw, 21°, 21° Draw and 22°; and the 4/5 model adjusts between 22°, 23°, 23° Draw, 24°, 24° Draw and 25°.
Other clubhead technology includes the Advanced Material Placement and Cell technology that work together to redistribute weight, enabling a larger E9 Face to deliver faster ball speeds and higher MOI for greater forgiveness and longer distance.
