Ping Launch Autumn/Winter Clothing Collection

One of golf’s leading clothing manufacturers, Ping, have launched a range of clothing for the winter season, built through extensive technological research dedicated to finding, and subsequently forming, the best performing winter collection the company has ever made.
The series includes a mix of waterproofs, polo-shirts, base-layers, trousers and knitwear all engineered for the winter season. While technology is at the forefront of every garment in the collection, vibrant colour palettes and on and off-course style trends are apparent throughout the men’s, women’s and junior ranges.
From traditional-looking garments, to more contemporary designs, there something for everyone across the line. Fiona Reilly, the Senior Designer, said: “When we went to the drawing table for the autumn/winter 2012 range, we wanted to focus on creating a stylish, contemporary range built around forward-thinking garment technology. Ww’re committed to following the philosophy of our hardware brand and we have echoed the innovation and technological advancements found across the Ping range in our clothing.
The range is centred around three innovative layering systems – Hydro Pro Dynamics, Thermal Dynamics and Dry Fibre Dynamics – the range in its entirety is designed to protect golfers from the elements.
Reilly continues: “Hydro Pro Dynamics, found in the Response Jacket, creates a garment that is 100% waterproof, 100% breathable and with a 4-way stretch, allowing the golfer to make a complete, athletic swing without being inhibited. Thermal Dynamics, found in the Zenith Fleece, promotes unrivalled warmth in a garment that’s the ideal alternative to a more traditional sweater. Finally, Dry Fibre Dynamics features across the range in Ping’s Collection’s excellent compression base layers and all polo shirts. This promotes exceptional comfort by wicking sweat away from the skin”

Flagship garments from the men’s range include the Response waterproof suit. Utilising the superb HydroPro Dynamic technology, this feature packed suit will keep you dry, even in the wettest conditions. Another important forward step comes in the form of the Conway trouser. Proclaimed as the best trouser the company has ever made, Conway is beautifully tailored in a stretch mini-check design and is Teflon coated for water and stain resistance.
AUTUMN/WINTER 2012 – WOMEN’S COLLECTION
Comprising of magenta, blue light, white and black, the autumn/winter 2012 series focuses again on outfit coordination; a hallmark of Ping’s recent success. Attractive garments such as the waterproof Moondance jacket form the foundation of this series, featuring Ping’s trademark lightweight, low noise and weather protective characteristics. Moondance also contains Ping’s Polyester Stretch Mesh as well as a Teflon coating, making it 100% waterproof.

The junior collection holds all the technological advancements that make the adult assortments so successful. It includes every garment necessary for the junior golfer, including bright polo shirts, trousers, waterproof garments, knitwear and base-layers.
