Softspikes Launch Cyclone Cleats

Softspikes, the world’s best-selling golf cleat brand, have announced the launch of the new Cyclone cleat that offers an advanced rotational design.

The exciting new cleats will also be accompanied by the adjustable Black Widow Tour box kits, as well as the original Black Widow box kits and Pulsar models for the company’s 2012/2013 range.

Headlining the range is the new Cyclone model that has already become the sort-after cleat of 2012/13. It is available in an exciting black/gold colour option, featuring multi-material components with an ultra-advanced rotational design, envisioned to counteract undesirable forces at work during impact. The Cyclone also utilises the popular Fast Twist thread, allowing golfers to change cleats with a simple twist and lock motion.

Also in the range is the adjustable Black Widow Tour. It offers self-adjusting traction technology and new ‘Support Rings’ that enable golfers to customise the level of comfort in their cleats, choosing between two distinct settings: Tour Comfort and Tour Firm. The cleats also feature four large flexible legs that provide unmatched grip on any terrain/surface and four cushioning towers that absorb secondary loads and distribute the golfer’s weight throughout the cleat.

The Pulsar model has Reactive Comfort Technology, helping it to deliver maximum comfort and performance via a 16 component design that reacts to every angle of force exerted by the golfer. As part of this design, flexor knuckles placed at the flex point on each of Pulsar’s eight legs offer enhanced strength, responsiveness and more than twice the flexibility of any cleat on the market.  In addition, the reinforced arched webbing between each of Pulsar’s legs delivers instant energy return every time the cleat is compressed, resulting in a cleat that offers unmatched stability and comfort.
