The Callaway Razr X Irons fall in the better player category. This category more than any other, will come down to personal preference of the testers but during our irons test this was the one iron that seemed to combine everything our team was looking for in an iron designed for competent golfers.
The Razr X Forged won high praise in all categories from every tester and that meant it was a worthy winner of top spot in this hotly contested category. The iron was designed with feedback from Callaway’s Tour stars, leading to the confidence inspiring topline, narrow sole and short blade length along with a higher, squared-off toe and the sharper leading edge.
It is no wonder that our gear Editors Jon and Dave love them.
