Cobra-Puma Announce Signing Of Jesper Parnevik

Cobra-Puma Golf has unveiled the signing of five-time PGA Tour winner Jesper Parnevik who will endorse their apparel and golf equipment

The stylsih Swede – who has also won five times on the European Tour – will play the AMP CELL driver and fairway woods, the AMP Forged irons and Trusty Rusty wedges.

Recent Parnevik forays into the press include his parody video of PSY’s “Gagnam Style” that cast fellow Swedes Richard Johnson and Fredrick Jacobsen, as well as PGA Tour star Dustin Johnson.

On the course, it has been almost 12 years since the three-time Ryder Cup member last won at the 2001 Honda Classic, including making only one cut in three events on the PGA Tour in 2012.

As a result, the 47-year-old is currently playing on the PGA Tour thanks to a medical exepmtion after a boating injury in March that nearly severed his right index finger. To keep his card he must make at least $620,087 in his next 12 events.

Away from his swing, the Swedish style icon will be wearing products from PUMA Golf’s Spring/Summer 2013 Collection along with the all new Tux Lux golf shoe. Parnevik, true to himself, will be putting together fashion forward looks from the PUMA Golf Collection and rock a brand new, cycling-inspired cap complete with his signature flipped brim.  

He will be also part of COBRA Golf’s 2013 ‘What’s Your Fly’ advertising campaign and be featured in print, online and television adverts as well as in store signage alongside Rickie Fowler, Ian Poulter and Jonas Blixt. Additionally, his favorite songs will be available in a playlist on PUMA Golf’s “PUMA GOLF Beats” playlist that can be found on Facebook.com/pumagolf.
