PING Collection Launch Spring/Summer Range

PING Collection have long been established as a market leader in hybrid-fabric innovation and their spring/summer 2013 offering continues this with a soft, poly-cotton material found in several new garments, including the excellent Miro polo-shirt.

From a design perspective, this is PING Collection’s most varied range yet, with items guaranteed to offer comfort, performance and freedom of movement, no matter the conditions.

Fiona Reilly, PING Collection’s Senior Designer, said: “Through our spring/summer 2013 collection, we’ve continued our ethos of developing the best performing, technical, golf specific attire on the market.

“This, combined with the advanced aesthetics present throughout the range, including striking print designs, creates a range that is surely our most advanced to date. I genuinely feel that this collection will help golfers to play their best, no matter the circumstances.

“Dry Fibre, Thermal and Hydro Pro Dynamics have helped establish PING Collection as the market-leader in producing golf performance clothing. Therefore, we have evolved this technology to meet the needs of the spring/summer months. We firmly believe this is our most-advanced collection to date, both from a performance and design perspective.”

The men’s line is fronted by a series of polo-shirts structured from a performance and comfort-driven poly-cotton. This is featured in new designs such as Cruz, Miro and Ramone, where the 70% polyester, 30% cotton mix delivers superb ‘cotton comfort’ with all the performance and moisture movement characteristics of a pure polyester garment.

The range’s polos will be available in ‘Ocean Drive’, a colour palette that fuses sophisticated shades with classic overtones to create an urbane look on the fairway, and Mandarin Burst, a mandarin, soft green, ash, white and black that foils soft, summery shades.

Another item in the range are the Toledo trousers, available in black, white, ash and ocean blue. These golf specific 5-pocket trousers are precisely designed to hold everything you require, while the technologically advanced Dry Fibre Dynamics technology makes them a comfortable garment, even in the searing heat of summer.

PING are also releasing more accessories, including socks, belts and box sets.

Elsewhere, PING Collection have catered for the unpredictable European summer with designs such as the Hydro Playing Top, that features high-performance Hydro Pro Dynamics technology, with a three-year 100% waterproof guarantee.

RRPs: Miro Polo-Shirt £40, Bodmin Gilet £60 and Toledo Trouser £60.
