Fresh off the launch of Adams Golf’s new Idea Super 9031 hybrid, our Equipment Editor Joel Tadman has been down the driving range putting it through its paces.
The Super 9031 improves upon the Idea Pro Black 9031, with enhanced shaping and the use of slots to produce a hotter clubface.
It also features a compact 80cc clubhead that combines a Cut-Thru sole slot with a refined crown slot.The result is faster ball speeds compared to non-slotted hybrids and traditional long irons. An ultra-thin steel clubface also produces a trampoline effect approaching the USGA limit.
It will come with a Mitsubishi Diamana+ 82 shaft and with loft options including 16°, 18°, 20° and 23°, from £159.99.
