Wilson FG Tour TC wedge now in black PVD finish

Wilson Staff, the brand with more Major wins with its wedges (82) than any other, has introduced a new line of Tour-proven FG Tour TC wedges in a dark PVD finish.

These clubs, which have already been put in the bag of Ryder Cup and former Open champion Paul Lawrie, will be available from February in 52, 56 and 60 degree options. Sporting a new, confidence-inspiring black PVD finish, the wedges feature two sole options – a standard sole and a Tour version for players looking for extra shot shaping and strikes from tighter lies.

The new Traction Control wedges feature a laser-etched pattern within the individual scorelines, which help to generate extra spin on approach shots into the green.

“The new wedges feature our award-winning Traction Control technology and thanks to the two sole options, a greater range of golfers will be able to generate more spin control around the greens,” said Jon Pergande, Wilson Golf’s R&D Manager for wedges.

A new wedge-specific, Lamkin 3-Gen grip with imprinted dots helps players grip the club appropriately for different shot lengths. Check out TG’s ‘First Hit’ of the wedge in the upcoming issue, on sale April 17.
