World’s first Nike Performance Fitting Centre to open in Scotland

Nike Golf, in conjunction with Archerfield Links, will open the new Nike Performance Fitting Centre at Archerfield on July 7, 2014, just ahead of the Scottish Open.
A world first for Nike Golf, the facility will allow golfers to experience the very best in golf club fitting, as well as offering them access to Archerfield’s elite coaching panel, including former Ryder Cup player Andrew Coltart and leading European Tour coach Gary Nicol.
The facility is currently under the final stages of construction. Golfers will have access to a full range of products, technology and fitting experiences – mirroring the service Nike Golf offers to the Tour athletes.
There will be a range of packages, including a three-day stay at the luxury club with a full club and ball fitting, game assessment, physical fitness consultation and a playing lesson on either the Fidra or Dirleton Links. Personalized, specially built clubs will be delivered to the club in time for a playing lesson during their stay. Golfers will also have a distance mapping session, whilst being shown how to use the Nike Golf NG360 app which allows players to track their progress on the course, as well as offer tips on game-improvement.
In addition to the two stunning courses designed by DJ Russell, the Archerfield Links Estate boasts a 17th century Mansion House, ethical spa (recently voted in the top-six new spas in Europe), gym and a range of luxurious accommodation just outside Edinburgh and in easy reach by road, rail and air.
