Inside WGC winner Bubba Watson’s bag

Bubba Watson won the WGC-HSBC Champions with a replacement Ping G30 driver.

He feared his regular driver might have some metal fatigue and could fail, so had a new pink G30 delivered to his Orlando home before he left for China. 

Watson also had three Ping prototype wedges in the bag for the first time, one of which he used to hole a shot from a greenside bunker on the on the 72nd hole that tied Tim Clark and got him into a playoff, which he won on the first extra hole.

He was also using a new prototype version of Titleist’s ProV1x golf ball.
