Callaway reveal the new Great Big Bertha Fairway
Published:
The Warbird was one of the very first clubs to talk about powering shots out of the rough and launching shots off the short grass. They were so good many golfers used to hit Warbird Drivers off the fairway! Its no surprise then Callaway have taken inspiration from the original design for a new “Modern Warbird Sole” on the Great Big Bertha Fairway.
The new soles are combined with a Cup Face which helps increase ball speeds on off centre hits. A slightly bigger head also boosts forgiveness and a lighter total weight helps increase club speed. Lets not forget the Opti-Fit Hosel which gives you a 3deg range to change loft and create a draw or neutral bias. What more could you possibly want from a Fairway Wood?
Callaway are also bringing back the Heavenwood (20.5deg) and Divine Nine (24deg) in the Great Big Bertha range as they say their capable of delivering a tighter dispersion and better gapping for the club golfer.
RRP: £229
Offering: 3, 5, 7, Heavenwood and Divine Nine
