Titleist launches new Scotty Cameron GOLO and Roundback putters

Titleist have launched a new line in the popular Scotty Cameron GOLO mallet putters, and also a new Select Roundback putter.

The advanced GOLO putters feature a lightweight aluminium face-sole core, surrounded by a stainless steel frame that delivers improved MOI for increased stability and forgiveness.

The steel frame is connected seamlessly to the aluminium face-sole core at five key points, with new vibration dampening technology that delivers the softest feeling Cameron putter in recent years. The steel body has a Silver Mist finish that contrasts with the dark anodised aluminium face-sole core, that pops through the top to create a sightline field on the back flange for easy alignment. Four-way relief on the sole prevents snagging for a smooth takeaway.

Available in golf shops from the 3rd of April, the new GOLO line includes four models:

  • GOLO 3, a mid-mallet with a heel shafted flow neck
  • GOLO 5, an angled back mallet with a crisp single bend shaft
  • GOLO 5R, a rounded back mallet with a crisp single bend shaft
  • GOLO 6, a B-back mallet with a crisp single bend shaft.

Select Roundback

Meanwhile, the Select Roundback is a modern mid-mallet design with tour-validated balance and stability. It features an aluminium sole with crisscross sight lines that pop through the head. Sight lines positioned parallel and perpendicular to the face allow improved alignment.

The Roundback has a new, fully rounded shape. Its Fastback counterpart has rounded corners, while the Squareback is boxy.

“When we introduced them a year ago, the Fastback and Squareback instantly resonated with golfers at every level of the game. Just last week at the Sony Open, seven guys had Fastback and Squareback models in play,” Cameron said. “Alignment is a huge trend on tour, and having multiple sight lines on a head works to benefit many golfers. If you have difficulty setting up to the ball and squaring the face at impact, this is a great option.”

New Select Roundback is available in golf shops worldwide from 3rd March with a suggested retail price of £279.
