Callaway unveils new Mac Daddy Milled Wedges

Callaway’s legendary Wedge Maker Roger Cleveland has pulled out all the stops on the company’s latest Mac Daddy Wedges. Billed as the most complete wedge line the company has ever created you can expect some serious performance.
New thinking behind the groove patterns offer additional spin in the higher lofts over traditional wedges. Roger Cleveland’s “Progressive Groove Optimisation” technology increases the wall angles of each groove, maximising friction and stopping power. Where golfers typically spin their 50 degree wedge more than any other, this new technology increases spin as the lofts get higher.
The MD3s come in three different grinds:
The S Grind will be the most popular and versatile for different swing types and conditions.
The W Grind bears a slightly wider sole and is suited to softer conditions or a steeper attack.
The C Grind’s toe and heel relief is ideal for firm conditions and when opening the face and wanting to keep the leading edge low.
A choice of either Satin Chrome or a new Matt Black finish and 15 Loft and Bounce options means everyone can find their perfect short game setup. As standard the MD3’s will come with a Dynamic Gold shaft and Lamkin UTX grip. Expect to see them appearing in good golf stores from 4th September.
