TaylorMade reveal AeroBurner Mini Driver

Following on from the success of the SLDR Mini driver, TaylorMade have launched its replacement. The AeroBurner driver is fresh of picking up TG ‘Best on test’ for distance in our Drivers test and the mini version has all the same technology that makes it so fast.

It features a new aerodynamic shape with a shallow face, raised center crown and new hosel fin to reduce aerodynamic drag and increase speed. A new Speed Pocket increases the size of the sweet spot and reduces spin for more distance.

It also offers improved playability due to its larger hittable face area and decreased overall size of 253cc. A matte white finish, black PVD face, and linear AeroBurner crown graphic make alignment easy.

“The SLDR Mini Driver captivated the golfing public by delivering better 3 wood performance from the tee, the AeroBurner Mini Driver brings more speed and forgiveness to this popular new club type,” says Brian Bazzel, Senior Director, Metalwood Product Creation.

The AeroBurner comes with the new lightweight Matrix Speed RUL-Z 60 shaft and TM Speed grip. The TP model is designed with a longer hosel, flatter lie, and more open face angle and comes with a new Matrix Ozik White Tie 70X4 and new Lamkin UTx grip. There a several aftermarket shafts and grips available to customize your AeroBurner.

Details: Lofts 12°, 14° and 16° (TP version not available in 16°). RRP £219 (£299 for the TP version). www.taylormadegolf.com
