SkyTrak unveil affordable launch monitor and simulator

Published:

Launch monitors and simulators cost a fortune, primarily because Lasers, radar’s and photometrics don’t come cheaply. Which in the past has meant if your a club pro, club fitter or amateur golfer they’ve been an out of reach expense. But that’s about to change.

SkyTrak spotted a gap in the market for a professional grade launch monitor that came with an affordable price tag. They realised if the launch monitor could also be a simulator and practice aid all in one they’d be onto a winner when it came to potential customers.

And that’s exactly what they’ve done. A Launch Monitor and Simulator have all been combined into a single unit which can be used both indoors and out, just by connecting it to your ipad. The unit use photometrics to give out all the data you’d expect from any other launch monitor, and comes as standard with a number of long drive and nearest the pin challenges which help make practice more engaging.

But that’s not all. Through SkyTrak’s association with the popular World Golf Tour app (which allows you to play golf on a mobile device) for a further subscription you also get access to 9-shot closest the hole challenge at each of WGT’s 20 high definition courses (including St Andrews, Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes, Celtic Manor, Pinehurst No 2, Royal St Georges and Chambers Bay). So whether you choose to rig up a practice net in the garden, take the SkyTrak to the range or just use the unit as a launch monitor you really do have a multi-purpose device at your disposal.
