Skechers reveal new Blade shoe

Skechers are #2 footwear brand in the USA and they’ve got their sights set on making some serious inroads to the UK golf shoe market in 2016. They reckon their new Go Golf Blade shoe with its eye-catching design and athletic styling is just what the modern golfer is after.

Available in a wide variety of fashionable new colour schemes the Go Golf Blade has the looks of a modern-day running trainer, which is what the design is based upon. Skechers have taken award-winning technologies from their running shoes and adapted them to meet the golfers’ requirements. Therefore the Blade ticks the performance, comfort and style boxes that modern golfers demand.

In terms of features, the Blade has a low drop midsole, a fully waterproof upper and a hybrid traction system. The low drop midsole delivers excellent ground feel, which results in improved player performance. Although the shoe is run-inspired it still manages to be 100% waterproof thanks to waterproof seam-sealed protection, just like a waterproof jacket.

There’s also a dual density shock absorbing midsole and high-performance cushioned insole to deliver unmatched comfort. An anti-microbial insole helps to keep feet fresh when walking long distances on the golf course, and a stabilised midfoot area adds increased control during the golf swing.

Expect to see the new Go Golf Blade in shops now priced from £109. For further information visist www.skechers.co.uk
