Cleveland reveal new TFI 2135 putters

Adam Sheldon’s a name you probably don’t recognise but he’s english, he’s written over 20 patents for golf equipment and he’s also Cleveland Golf’s Global Brand Manager. Oh and he’s the brains behind the new TFI 2135 Putters.

Cleveland reckon all golfers have different putting strokes and address positions, which makes setting up perfectly over the ball every time nearly impossible. It’s this inability they say to set up over the ball consistently that leads to misalignment and off-center hits.

So Cleveland have developed a new alignment technology that allows golfers to correctly align their putt with the sweet spot of the putter no matter how they set-up. By raising the alignment line on the new TFi 2135 putters to the same radius as a golf ball (21.35 millimeters), Cleveland reckon their engineers have created the most accurate alignment feature ever for a blade putter. The alignment feature never moves relative to the golf ball because it’s at the dead center of the golf ball.  Regardless of whether a golfer putts with their eyes behind or over the golf ball, Cleveland say the new TFi 2135 putters create perfect alignment.

Alignment isn’t the only story with the 2135’s either. With MOI increasingly being talked about in putter design Cleveland say their aluminum insert removes 100g from the front of the putter which has been reloacted to improve the resistance to twisting when putts don’t hit the sweet spot.

The 3 new TFi 2135 blade putter models have an RRP of £99.00. All models will be available from February 1st 2016, for further information visit www.clevelandgolf.com.
