Get new gear for less with the best equipment deals of the week!

We’ve scoured the internet for this week’s best deals on golf clubs and other equipment. Everything is brand new – we don’t want you living with someone else’s scuff marks – but some of it may not be the latest release. Don’t worry: none ot it is more than a year or two old, so it’s not like we’re suggesting you buy a set of hickories and a dozen featheries.

Happy shopping, and let us know if you spot a cracking deal out there.

Cobra Golf AMP CELL S Driver – £74.99

cobra-driver

The Cobra AMP CELL has a five-star rating from TG reader reviews, and if you’re not fussed about adjustability, this ‘S’ version is a great bet and fantastic value. American Golf has it in lofts of 9.5, 10.5 and 11.5 degrees, with a regular flex graphite shaft, for just £74.99.

Wilson Staff D100 irons – £188

These forgiving irons are ideal for beginners or improvers. Wilson have a rich history of making top-quality irons, and you can pick up a brand new set of Wilson D100 for just £188 on GolfBidder. The only catch is you need to be a left-hander. If you’re a righty, GolfBidder has the same set, used, for prices ranging between £129 and £199, depending on condition.

Garmin Approach S2 – £98.28

Once you get a laser or GPS and get used to having an exact yardage for every shot, you can’t remember how you ever got by without it. Cost is the main thing that puts people off, but when you can pick up a market-leading Garmin Approach S2 on Amazon for less than £100, giving gives you yardages to hazard and dog-legs as well as the front, back and middle of each green, it could be some of the best money you ever spend.

Callaway Dawn Patrol leather glove – £41.75

callaway-glove

Golf gloves are about as fun to buy as new tyres for your car, but they’re just as important. Persevering with a knackered old mitt because you don’t want to shell out £20 for a new one in the pro shop will cause you to grip the club tighter, which will have disastrous effects on your shots.

Save yourself the hassle – and plenty of money – by buying a pack of five. These leather Callaway gloves work out at just £8.35 per glove. The other benefit of buying in bulk is that you can rotate your glove from one round to the next, which increases the lifespan of both gloves.
