Motocaddy say their award-winning S1 has become the world’s favourite electric golf trolley since its introduction in 2006. The new 2016 model incorporates a number of new improvements, including a soft-touch ergonomic handle, low-profile quick release wheels, a streamlined battery tray and the brands exclusive super-fast Quickfold mechanism.
Added to these features are nine speed settings, a battery indicator, whisper-quiet motor, adjustable bag supports and compatibility with the Easilock bag-to-trolley connection system introduced in 2014.
“The latest S1 is a great trolley designed for golfers of all ages and abilities,” said David Wells, Chairman of Motocaddy. “It’s incredibly sturdy and easy to use and the S1 family has proved itself to be the golfer’s best friend for a decade,” he added.
Motocaddy haven't just focused on the S1 either. Their S3 PRO has also taken on a new look for this season. It offers the same new stand-out design features as the S1, but with the addition of a user-friendly, hi-resolution full colour screen. The simplified layout makes it even easier for golfers to take advantage of the wide-range of performance functions on offer.
In addition to the Adjustable Distance Control (up to 60 yards) and the patented USB charging port to power GPS devices while in play, the gadget-filled S3 PRO also features a CartLock security pin code, clock, round and lost ball timers, advanced battery meter and three distance measurements (drive, round & life).
Motocaddy have also lowered their pricing for lithium batteries for the new range. So the S1 is availble from £299.99 (with a lead acid battery) and £399.99 (with a lithium battery). The S3 Pro starts from £379.99 (with a lead acid battery) and £479.99 for a lithium battery.
