GPS watches are now among the most popular bits of kit bought at UK golf shops – and now the decision just got a little harder.
Bushnell has unveiled its “next generation of distance-made-simple golf products”, the £199 Busnhell EXCEL Golf GPS watch.
As well as providing all the key info the golfer needs, the Bushnell EXCEL Golf uses Bluetooth to work with a new Bushnell Golf app.
Its sleek design features a colour display that adjusts to brightness automatically – great if you’re playing on a sunny day.
The Bluetooth means you can update the 35,000-plus pre-loaded courses extremely easy, so you always have the most accurate course information. It also means you can receive call alerts, messages and calendar notifications straight to the watch.
The Bushnell Golf app now lets you book tee times, pay, confirm and set tee time notifications all from your smart phone. There is also the option for 3D course flyovers in the app.
Also integrated into the watch is a Swing Pro function, giving golfers the chance to monitor their swing speed and tempo.
