Odyssey reveal new EXO high-MOI mallet putter line

Odyssey have revealed a new high-MOI mallet putter line with the launch of its EXO range, featuring three new putter models. 

Odyssey’s latest putter line-up introduces three multi-piece designs which take inspiration from both two classic head shapes and a more recent shape, while also combining the on-trend red putter colour with the traditional black look to create what the brand call a ‘technology-rich package’. 

Odyssey say you’ve never seen a putter like EXO before, which is offered in three of their most popular shapes: the #7, Rossie, and Indianpolis, and all have both Face Balanced and Toe Hang options to fit your stroke.

Their latest MOI mallet range has maximum forgiveness created by an advanced multi-material construction, which concentrates the weight toward the perimeter to significantly increase MOI for more consistent ball speeds and accuracy. 

In addition to that, each head is precision-milled, with a weight-saving aluminium red section contrasting with a milled black stainless steel body that drives significant increases in MOI, pushing putter performance to new levels for all golfers.

On impact with the golf ball, an all-new White Hot Microhinge Insert – a slightly firmer Tour-developed insert with an identical feel to the Tour’s ‘gold standard’ White Hot insert – imparts pure roll thanks to Microhinge Technology.

To give each Odyssey EXO Putter a premium look, each head is skim-milled, a light, yet precise milling process that refines edges and corners while giving the surface a beautiful sheen and feel.

Each head, engineered slightly bigger than the original design thanks to the weight-saving red aluminium section, are offered in either face-balanced or toe hang ‘S’ slant neck models, giving golfers every option to match an Odyssey Putter with their stroke-style.

With the lightweight 6061 milled aluminum in the center, we can take weight away from
the centre of the head and redistribute it into the perimeter of the head, which is made of
17-4 stainless steel. This is how we’re able to concentrate the weight, driving up the MOI
significantly for more consistent ball speeds and directional control.
