PXG reveal stable and forgiving Blackjack putter

New PXG Blackjack putter is 100 per cent milled and integrates aerospace-grade aluminum with high-density tungsten to support a deep centre-of-gravity for more stability and forgiveness.

PXG’s new mallet-style Blackjack Putter is the first release in their Battle Ready Collection and introduces a new bi-material construction, with each club built to your exact needs.

The 100% milled putter combines aerospace-grade aluminum with high-density tungsten to support a deep centre-of-gravity.

Locating the CG further from the face makes it more difficult for players to twist the face angle off its natural path during the stroke, improving your chances of delivering the face square at impact.

Additionally, the Blackjack features a new variable-sized, pyramid face pattern with its groove depth optimised to increase ball speed on centre strikes.

The design also helps ensure consistency in all significant factors that affect roll, including initial ball velocity, launch angle, spin rates, and skid distance.

“From MOI and CG location to balance and stability, we’ve optimized absolutely everything on our new Blackjack Putter,” said Bob Parsons, PXG Founder & CEO. “Since putts account for roughly 40 per cent of shots taken, why not put the odds in your favor with PXG’s Blackjack Putter?”

The Blackjack features large, adjustable sole weights made of heavier tungsten and lighter titanium that influence clubhead mass and bias. With 5g, 10g (standard), 15g, and 20g options, each putter will be made to ensure optimal performance for its user.

Four hosel types – heel-shafted, double bend, plumber’s neck, and armlock – ensure the putter is ideal for any stroke, with overall weight ranging from 330g to 445g, depending on the sole weights and hosel chosen.

The sole of the Blackjack features PXG’s iconic Darkness Insignia – a skull with the number 26. The insignia commemorates Bob Parsons’ service as a rifleman (0311) with the 26th Regiment of the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

The PXG Blackjack Putter retails for £436.
