Ecco improve on what may already have been their best ever golf shoe by adding BOA to the Ecco Biom H4.

Earlier this year, we revealed that Ecco had created what may have been the closest-to-perfection golf shoe we’d ever seen in the shape of the Biom H4.

Never ones to rest on their laurels, Ecco have decided to build on the success of the Biom H4 by releasing a BOA edition, alongside a refreshed aesthetic.

Golfers who have tried BOA in the past will know that not only does it do away with the faff of tying laces – and dirty laces in the winter – it also provides a more comfortable and secure fit, with a reassuring feel of your foot being “locked in”.

Technology

Alongside the addition of BOA, you still get the Biom Natural Motion Technology that forms like a second skin around the foot and enables it to move naturally, close to the ground. It’s the closest feeling you’ll get to playing barefoot. 

The Ecco FluidForm Direct Comfort Technology, meanwhile, ensures a balance of cushioning and rebound to deliver dynamic comfort with every step.

You’ll also be prepared for all conditions with Ecco’s MTN GRIP outsole, which includes three sections to provide the ideal blend of traction and stability, ground penetration, and rotational support throughout your golf swing. 

Wrapping around the foot from the outsole to the midsole, the T.PU element on the side of Biom H4 enhances stability while adding to the contemporary, premium design – with colour pops helping to create a vibrant aesthetic in certain styles.

Colours

The new BOA option of the Biom H4 comes in black or white colourways for men; complementing the black, white, silver/grey and white/concrete colourways available in the laced version of the shoe.

For women, the BOA version of Biom H4 is available in black or white/silver grey. The laced version comes in white, limestone, white/silver grey, and a new ombre colourway.
