Open Championship Day One

The first day’s play of the 140th Open Championship at Royal St George’s has now come to an end and Thomas Bjorn and English amateur Tom Lewis sit atop the leaderboard on -5. See the day’s highlights in pictures here.

The second day is complete at the 140th Open Championship and Darren Clarke and Lucas Glover sit tied atop the leaderboard, while a host of big names missed the cut. The highlight of the day was Tom Watson’s hole-in-one at the 6th.

Open Championship Day Three

Saturday of the 140th Open Championship at Royal St George’s was one of the wettest for a very long time. The early starters struggled but, as the weather improved in the late afternoon, Darren Clarke shot a fine 69 to hold a one-shot 54-hole lead from Dustin Johnson.

Darren Clarke recorded a three-shot victory at the 140th Open Championship at Royal St George’s to claim the Claret Jug at the 20th time of asking.
