The US Open 2012

As we enter June, attention switches to the second Major Championship of the season, the US Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, California, from June 14-17.

The Masters was a fantastic start to the season and the US Open promises to serve up just as much world class golf and drama. Rory McIlroy will be defending the title that he won so dominantly at Congressional 12 months ago, but there are a host of players hoping to get their hands on the Major title.

Our own Luke Donald and Lee Westwood are still searching for that Major breakthrough and will be leading the European charge, Adam Scott heads a gaggle of American-based international stars showing good form and a host of Americans are proving they can win just in time for their Open. There there’s the return of a certain Tiger Woods.

The course is ready, the players are prepared and the stage is set for an epic battle on the West coast of America. You’ll find everything you need to be ready too right here, including course information, tips from the leading contenders, betting and Fantasy Golf guides and in-depth features with the defending McIlroy.
