Fancy seeing a whole host of celebrities, including Sir Alex Ferguson and Dennis Taylor, try their luck on the golf course for charity?
The Sir Ian Botham Charity Golf Classic, sponsored by Qire, takes place at Mere Golf and Country Club on Sunday, September 16, and you can lend your support as the event aims to reach its target of £50,000 for Leukaemia Research.
Former England cricket captain Botham will host the day and he will be joined by, amongst others, Liverpool legends Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush, as well as England's greatest ever goalscorer, Sir Bobby Charlton.
Businesses can also enter a team into the event; for those that fancy their chances against such competition, why not enter thee players with a maximum handicap of 20 to raise money for a great cause.
To join in with the day and help make a contribution to Leukaemia Research simply come along on the day. Tickets are £5 for adults and children get in for free.
