As if tears on the 18th, numerous fist pumps and men hugs aren’t enough, Todaysgolfer.co.uk is lining up the mother of all Fantasy Golf Games this September to help enhance your own personal Ryder Cup.
On September 3rd we’ll be launching our one-off Ryder Cup Fantasy golf game where you’ll be able to compete against your mates for up to £5,000 of golf prizes backed by the likes of Callaway Golf – the full details of which will be unveiled on the site.
Joining is free and couldn’t be easier as all you have to do is choose your team of six players, which should be made up of both Americans and Europeans for each day’s play and then sit in front of the television to support your chosen few.
Then, as each day’s play finishes you just log back on and make a decision as to who you should have for the next day’s play so you can rack up as many points as possible.
Scoring is pretty straightforward too with teams in the foursomes or fourballs, scoring 10 for a win and five for a draw, then extra points for the win margin itself. So if you win 3 and 2 for example you would get 10 points plus 3, so 13 in total.
In the singles matches the points are doubled to ensure a red hot finish to the most anticipated golf event of the year.
