Golf For A Good Cause With Brittany Ferries At A Bargain Price

Published:

Brittany Ferries is inviting golfers to combine some great golf with a good cause in October this year at the popular Brittany Charity Golf Challenge. The one-day tournament, to be held on Friday 16 October 2009 is expected to attract around 300 golfers, with funds raised going to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.

The tournament, open to gentlemen, lady amateurs and club professionals, will be played out across five superb courses in Brittany. Each course will be adjusted to the same total length off the tee, with teams of four playing in two pairs. The team result will be the combined stableford points, with all players being invited to an evening prize giving ceremony.

Prices start from just £165 per person, including return ferry travel to France with a standard sized car, overnight en suite cabin accommodation on the outward sailing and one night’s hotel accommodation with breakfast. Also included are entry to the golf tournament, a special golf day lunch, and a superb prize table including some outstanding prizes from Callaway Golf Europe.

Those wishing to stay a little longer can easily extend their break before or after the event with a night or two at one of Brittany Ferries’ hand-picked golfing hotels from just £59 per person per night, including golf.

And as with all Brittany Ferries golf breaks, the event begins and ends with a relaxing cruise, and an opportunity to enjoy fine food, comfortable lounges, stylish bars and award-winning service on board.
