Have you ever wanted to see Ian Poulter try to destroy a leather armchair by smacking golf balls at it?
No, us neither. But TG’s equipment editor David Connor exclusively joined Poults behind-the-scenes at a recent golf day where he was doing just that. And you know what? It was actually pretty cool.
Poulter was filming for Oakley – his sunglasses sponsor – at Woburn Golf Club for an online “Oakley Armchair Session” and afterwards, just for the sheer hell of it, they decided to see what damage a 150mph ProV1 would do the the chair.
