Skim a stone for a balanced finish

Published:

“Hi Dingotoad, not sure of your shot pattern but suspect you pull some shots straight left and fade your driver now and again.

“I’d like you to try squaring up your shoulders at address – you’re aiming left at the moment.

“During your backswing you need to cultivate a litle more opening of the clubface so you can do the opposite and close it in the through swing. Your wrists will feel they ‘roll’ a little more back and through.

“Finally, imagine the action of skimming a stone and how your right side would work under and through. Aim to feel this more with the club resulting in a much more balanced finish instead of being stuck on your back foot.

“Best of luck trying these changes.”
