Engineering Corporate Masters

Marriott Forest of Arden is hosting the Engineering Corporate Masters on Wednesday 1st July 2009, for senior executives and their guests in the engineering industry.

History

The Championship course at Marriott Forest of Arden is one of England’s top inland championship golf courses.  The Arden course is situated amidst the trout lakes of Lord Aylesford’s 10,000acre estate at Packington Park.  Founded in 1970 and designed by Donald Steel, it is a regular European Tour venue and has hosted the British Masters and the English Open.  To date, it is generally regarded as one of the finest venues on the European Tour’s International Schedule.

The ancient oak trees which are particularly prevalent on the back nine, give the modern Arden course a greater sense of maturity.  Steel’s ability to use the natural landscape alongside his well crafted layout, has made this a course of the highest quality, set in very pleasant surroundings.  The Arden is maintained in flawless condition from tee to green, however it’s rough is thick and lush and is a heavy penalty for wayward shots.  This top Warwickshire venue, situated just four miles from Birmingham International Airport, is likely to test all of your golfing skills throughout a memorable 18 holes.

Beyond the greens, this elegant country hotel holds even more pleasures: a blissful Spa, tennis, fitness centre & pool complex.  For all events, the comprehensive conference facility offers 1,081 square metres of space and includes a 400-seat Marquee from May to October.
