Don’t set up to slice

“Robstar, many golfers are destined to slice before they hit the ball because of a faulty set up and you are one of these folk. The clubface comes into impact open (aiming right) so you start to aim left to compensate.

“You need to ‘square up’ your shoulders, hips and feet alignment coupled with improving your posture by sticking your bottom out more and tilting forward from your hips a little more too.

“Make sure you are seeing ‘three-ish’ knuckles of your left hand grip and make some pratcise swings ‘baseball’ style with the clubhead suspended two feet off the floor.

“Notice how when you swing through your wrists roll over and the cluhead releases squaring the clubface. With your new aim and posture, lower the club to the ball and create that same release through the ball, this will kill that slice. Good luck.”
