Scottish Corporate Cup

The Carrick is hosting the Scottish Corporate Cup on Wednesday 9th September 2009, for senior executives doing business in Scotland.

History

Having opened in 2007, De Vere’s latest gem, The Carrick on Loch Lomond has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s premier golf courses. Set in a breathtaking location on the banks of Loch Lomond surrounded by the Trossachs mountain range, The Carrick is one of the most picturesque golf courses in the UK. The natural beauty is in no way a substitute for a stern test however, and the Championship layout has already welcomed world class competition to its fairways; hosting the Ladies Scottish Open in 2007 and 2008. The Carrick is once again preparing itself for elite competition when the 24th PGA Cup matches take place in September 2009.

Designed by the renowned Canadian architect, Doug Carrick, the course meanders between the lowland banks of Loch Lomond on the front nine, before venturing into the undulating highland heath for the back nine. There are stunning views of Loch Lomond from almost every corner of the course – and there can be no better inspiration to a golfer to raise his or her game.

Completing De Vere’s offering at Loch Lomond is the five-star De Vere Cameron House hotel. Housing 129 luxurious rooms, the hotel offers elegant surroundings and a number of fine dining options, from the Claret Jug restaurant to the Cameron Grill and relaxed Boathouse. Also on offer are a state-of-the-art fitness suite and tranquil spa, as well as seven well-equipped conference rooms.
