Ping go off-course in Lakeland

In the early hours of Saturday June 19, members of PING Europe’s management team including, Managing Director John Clark (pictured), Marketing Manager Dave Fanning and National Sales Manager Steve Carter will set foot on an arduous walking challenge to raise money for the Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association.

The group will begin their challenge at Eskdale Golf Club where they will play 18-holes and then immediately afterwards begin an extremely demanding Lakeland fell walk in excess of 35 miles over 2 days to Keswick Golf Club.

If this task wasn’t hard enough already, they will also be carrying a full set of golf clubs the entire way!

En-route they will have to endure over 10,000 feet of climbing via Scafell Pike (the highest point in England) and Helvellyn (3rd highest point in England) as well as many other peaks on the way to Keswick Golf Club, planning to arrive in time for the Ping Lakeland Golf Challenge which begins with a shotgun start at 2:30pm on Sunday June 20th.

If you would like to support the PING challenge you can donate in one of the following ways: Firstly to make a convenient and secure credit card donation, go to the ‘Just Giving’ website www.justgiving.com/Lakeland-Challenge
