Midnight golf in Iceland… In a Jaguar

Most people head south for their golf holidays, but not Golf World Editor Chris Jones.

He took a three-hour flight north, to Iceland, to see what the Arctic can offer golfers. He was joined by the editor of CAR magazine, Phil McNamara, who was testing the new Jaguar XJ in the country.

With virtual 24-hour daylight on offer, it meant we could spend the days taking in some of Iceland’s incredible natural scenery – the lava flows, the volcanoes, glaciers and waterfalls – before jumping in the Jag to head to some of the county’s most impressive courses.

You can get a taste for golf in Iceland and the new Jaguar XJ limousine in this video.
