Seve in London for charity event

Seve Ballesteros touches down in London on November 30th to host an exclusive networking event for Cancer Research UK at Battersea Evolution, London. 

Viva La Vida – which translates into ‘Live the Life’ – is a truly unique celebration of life and golf, which gives businesses and their clients the unique opportunity to join stars from the worlds of sport, music and screen to spend an evening with one of the sport’s most famous stars and gain insight into what drives them to be top of their game.

As part of the ultimate end-of-season party, Seve – the greatest golfer ever on the European Tour – will present an award to the ‘European Golfer of the Year’, as voted by the British public in a recent nationwide vote.  He will also present his own special ‘Seve Award’ to a sportsman that he greatly admires. 

This amazing night will raise vital funds for the Seve Ballesteros Foundation, which is working in partnership with Cancer Research UK to help beat brain cancer.  Seve has been fighting the disease since he was diagnosed two years ago. 

In that time, he has endured a series of intense treatments which has seen him fight back with the same grit and determination that we see from him on the golf course. Viva la Vida is a one-off opportunity to widen your clientele and entertain clients and colleagues alike.

Seve said: “I’m thankful that my treatment has been successful so far but that wouldn’t be the case if it wasn’t for the amazing work that’s been done in the past. 

” I want to contribute as much as possible do what I can now to help beat this disease so others can benefit in the future, the same way I have done since I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I hope that you will join me in my fight.’
