Win a Tour Player experience

The Tour Fit for Golf Amateur Programme, launched in collaboration with the European Tour Performance Institute, will help recreationalgolfers of any standard optimise, for the first time, both their health andgolf performance.

The programme will be officially launched at The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, on May 31, on the eve of The Celtic Manor Wales Open.

Tour Fit for Golf is an online platform that uses the collective knowledge of the European Tour Performance Institute, amassed on The European Tour from players and medical professionals to help all golfers – Tour professionals and amateurs, young and old – to understand and emulate what the best players do to reach their peak performance.

To celebrate this innovative approach to game improvement, one Golfbreaks.com customer will win a place on the programme that will entitle them to a full Tour Player experience, including:

• Time on the range with a top coach

• Physical assessment on the European Tour Physiotherapy Unit

• A detailed benchmarking report, undertaken by the European Tour Performance Institute, to analyse health, ability and nutrition

As the winner goes through the five-month programme, Tour Fit for Golf will look at how to strengthen their physical state in relation to six key areas of performance.  

This will be supplemented with tutorial videos featuring stars of The European Tour, including Martin Kaymer, Lee Westwood and Alvaro Quiros, covering a range of topics from achieving excellence through to exercise drills you can do in your own home.

Each month the winner will also be invited to visit Golfbreaks.com venues across the UK, including the Celtic Manor Resort, The London Club, AA Saint-Omer Hotel du Golf and Foxhills Hotel and Resort, to monitor and measure progress, as well as play the golf courses.

As a grand finale, the winner will then travel to Portugal in October where they will participate in the Portugal Masters Pro Am at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Course, Vilamoura, Portugal, playing alongside a Tour star.
