"March will see the six month point of my challenge come and go and we've been busy setting targets for the month and planning how to achieve them.
"There are targets for fairways hit, greens in regulation, up and downs, number of putts, and, of course, setting new lows for getting round the course.
"Areas of my game that will come under special scrutiny are putting, using the driver, positive thinking, putting, visualisation, ball flight and some more putting.
"Three putting? Yes, that's been my problem this week. My short putting has always been good but I've been inconsistent from distance. I changed my putting stroke and now I can get to within two feet from anywhere on the green... unfortunately, I'm now missing the two-footers!
"On Wednesday I three-putted six times in 18 holes, but despite this I recorded my best ever round of 90. This means I can tick off the first target of the month but I've been aggressive with my next goal; I'm targeting 80 before we get to April. Now that's positive thinking in action!"
